By default, CReSED is designed to encourage local data storage—on-site, secure, and under your school’s direct control. This approach offers better data sovereignty, faster access, and removes reliance on external cloud services that may store data overseas.

However, we understand some schools prefer cloud integration. If needed, we can configure CReSED to work seamlessly with Google Drive or OneDrive. Just keep in mind: both Google and Microsoft reserve the right to transfer data across multiple jurisdictions, including countries outside of Australia. This can raise privacy, compliance, and legal concerns—especially in education settings.

That’s why our recommended setup keeps student and staff data on your school’s local server or internal drive. It’s safer, faster, and fully yours.
